Description Of Work:
We moved into a bigger home and at first we didn’t want to use a decorator for fear it would come out looking like a furniture showroom not our house. Also we had tried interior designers before and had been put-off by the whole experience/felt they didn’t help. So we started trying to do it ourselves. But after 9 months we had made very little progress, and a couple of our decisions we realized were wrong after making them (Didn’t look like what we were hoping, especially in terms of color). So we decided we should try to get some help and found Cathie on Angie’s List.

Cathie has made our home one we can’t wait to come home to, a home which reflects us & our tastes. She handles as much of it as you want, including arranging for delivery, being there when things are delivered, making sure things are done right & coordinated. She was a pleasure to work with. Her contractors are also pleasures to work with. We ended up relying on her & investing a lot in antiques, which made the cost of the job quite high. Costs were much higher than we anticipated, but that’s not Cathie’s fault, just that we didn’t know how much things would cost. Overall, we were very hesitant about hiring an int. designer, but we’ve been extremely happy w/the results w/Cathie.
